Tekken 6 relese date1/7/2024 Don't be afraid of the "J-Beasting.": So what if you got hit by 100 hit combo and you only touched him once. HOW TO TAKE an "L!": "Pay close attention if you want to get better at any game."Ģ. There is a way for others to find you and what gamecenter you frequent. They show character ranking, leaderboards, and replay hotmatches all over Japan. The F-Net screens not only play matches in that arcade. Then I'll go across the tracks and then I'll play against Kazuya and the family all day. I've been to gamecenters where I'll fight Steve users all day. This is where that character ranking comes into play. People go to their local game center (= arcade) to play each other. So I ended up going back to MVC2, SMASH, 3rd Strike and Soul Calibur and playing at home more.īut the scene in Japan in different. So, their level of competion was pretty damn high. My friends usually qualify for nationals. I was pretty bored with Tekken in America. Chances are if you vs someone there, you'll get your ass kicked. Especially for games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter. (d/f+2,1 = Press: Down and Forward and Right Punch. T6 is really Clean! The real abuse however will start on 11/26 but for now. So to roll up the new characters of T6 Location Test chosen on sheer popularity:Īll and all, without getting into the finer points of the game play and not diving too deep on the first try. either that or the opponent was just stupid. I thought it was a taunt but it acts as a stance…. But the strange thing is that Miguel has this “laugh.†Where he walks toward you…. The Japanese players usually played M in a rush down sense using his d/f+2,1 in mix- ups. Also, they take you a good distance across the screen. d/f+2,1 and yo’ ankles is MINES!†A good mix of Speed, Power, and Size! I didn’t know he was gonna be that big! The Japanese Players were all over Miguel! I wish I would have had the chance to play him myself. Then the Japan pick of the test!: Miguel aka. Honestly, I think Leo is whack, but I think she is going be the favorite of the Chang - Jun players. Leo: the VF5 rip off guy or should I say rip off gal. Bob is very flashy and his moves seem a bit High Risk but he looks fun to play with. That seems to connect after his Kuma like big throw. FAT ROCKET! Is fast as fuck with a Dragon Punch. She has the creepy Voldo from Soul Calibur approach. “Miss Get Low with It.†is interesting. (I hope there is a way to tech that fall.) Both opponents fall but Asuka can start What look like to be a small juggle combo afterwards. For Example: Asuka’s slam where she grabs your face and slams you to the ground. I saw some dirty-ness that will very well evolve. The stage where the floor breaks and you fall down. The stages, as of right now, don’t kill you but they give a tactical advantage. You know like those stages in DOA, SSBM, and a couple of other fighters. Now what I was worry about with T6’s stages was the fact that I didn’t want the stage to kill me in T6. It’s a bit deceptive upon the first glance though. STAGES: They Look fantastic! The High Roller Stage is so awesome with the money billowing out the sky and the 2 rich doods in the background are the definition of pimp. It puts your whole approach in a new light now. I lost to J.Chang because of it! Like I knew she was strong ,but damn her forward lunge attack had that extra, “You better get the fuck off me strength!†So, I will definitely be studying up on the rage meter thing. Nuances of T6: That rage meter is serious. Some matches were quick and other were long and entertaining. At one point the line went you the steps of the game center. If you loss, your wait on SNAKE’s WAY was like 10-15 minutes from the front of the game center. The shit was serious! It was a new game but the level of noobs at the Test was rather low. With damn near every Japanese player in the Namco Game Center carrying a copy of the Arcadia Magazine with the T6 move list in hand. The Japanese response to T6 seems pretty damn good. I just watched people play on the 2 the Noir Cabinets, (Which are kinda uncomfortable if you are 6′1 or over.) Simply murder on the knees. I only got to play T6 only once because I wanted to see the new characters. Honestly, It’s the best looking 3-D fighter to date. So tomorrow marks the arcade release date for Tekken6! Last week I went and played the test of T6 and off the back! Graphically, TEKKEN 6 is real CLEAN! Like, I always use to complain about the character design and the models used for Tekken.
